We’re delighted to announce that over the past weeks three new organizations have joined the Dgroups partnership: the Tropical Health & Education Trust (THET), The Broker Online and Enda Energie.
Based in London, THET is a specialist global health organisation working for over 20 years to educates, train and supports health workers through partnerships. This principle is central to everything THET does:
All of THET’s health partnerships and international programmes work continues to be characterised by collaborative relationships based on inclusivity, respect, reciprocity and mutual accountability.
The Broker Online is a vibrant knowledge hub acting as an intermediary between different networks of academics, policy-makers and practitioners. The Broker is also part of the Secretariat of the Knowledge Platform on Development Policies (KPDP), one of the five Knowledge Platforms that the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs launched in June 2012.
After testing Dgroups, The Broker has decided to use Dgroups to facilitate the internal communications between members of the the KPDP and its Secretariat.
Finally, Enda Energie increases the representation of Southern organizations in the Dgroups partnership. Based in Senegal, Enda Energie is a non profit organization that works on access to energy services, capacity building and local development and environmental governance.
Enda is planning to use Dgroups to support the activities of AfriCAN Climate, an innovative web-based knowledge platform for the sharing of climate change research and good practices.
Energie and The Broker joined as Associate Partners, the new membership level catered for smaller organizations that want to make use of Dgroups.
