Knowledge Management for Development (KM4Dev) is a global networked community of international development practitioners who are interested in knowledge management and knowledge sharing issues and approaches.
The KM4Dev email list, hosted by the Dgroups Foundation on its groups.io platform, is the community’s primary exchange platform.
To cover the running costs of KM4Dev ICT infrastructure – e.g. the web domain, wiki, toolkit, and journal – KM4Dev has launched a donation campaign for members to support KM4Dev financially.
The Dgroups Foundation partnered with KM4Dev to support this fundraising campaign by testing and enabling the donation feature of the groups.io platform.
The feature is very straightforward and it allows group members to view the donation request and make donations via credit or debit card. Once the donation process is completed, donors receive a Donation receipt via email.
